Cannes Lions 2017: Nine shortlists from India for Direct and Innovation Lions

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced shortlists for the Mobile, Innovation, Creative Data and Direct Lions on its third day. Nine entries from India could make it to the shortlists in Direct and Innovation categories while there were no shortlists in Mobile and Creative Data categories.

Leo Burnett has altogether secured five shortlists, with one in Innovation and four in Direct.

Leo Burnett is the only agency from India that has been shortlisted in the Innovation category for its campaign ‘Roads That Honk’ for HP Lubricants. 

Under the Direct category, India has eight shortlists. Leo Burnett led the tally with four shortlists out of which three are for the campaign ‘Roads That Honk’ for HP Lubricants and one is for ‘More To Give’ campaign for Fortis Healthcare.

McCann Health has two shortlists in the category for the campaign ‘Afghan Immunity Charm’ for Ministry of Public Health, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Taproot Dentsu’s ‘Adidas Odds’ for Adidas and Ogilvy’s ‘Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks’ campaign for ITC’s Savlon have also secured one shortlist each.
