India Today Group denies talks of sell-out of majority stake

Responding to the story carried by Best Media Info titled, “Is RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group in talks with Living Media to pick majority stake?”, the India Today Group has issued a statement.

An email received from the Group CEO of India Today Group Ashish Bagga stated, “The story captioned “Sanjiv Goenka Group in talks with Living Media to pick majority stake” has no merit and is totally baseless. The India Today Group takes serious objection to your carrying such a false report and urges you to immediately retract this story.”

A spokesperson for the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group said, "The report is baseless and completely unfounded."
