International watch maker Timex has launched a campaign that showcases how the brand is one's partner across different facets of life. The TVC titled 'My time' ends with the punchline 'Timex, Specialists in the Art of Timekeeping'. The commercial is originally conceived by Timex global marketing team and adapted by Breakthrough Communication.
Anupam Mathur, Head, Sales and Marketing, Timex Group India, said, “Timex is a global brand that has a lineage attached to it, which is glorious and unique. As a brand, we have always focused on enhancing lifestyles and giving our consumers a timeless experience. The brand has evolved over the years with advancement in technology and lifestyle but has always kept its American roots intact. The TVC is a showcase of our brilliant watchmaking, the bond that one shares with their timepieces and the timeless memories attached to it.”
The TVC instantly makes a visual connect to one's lifestyle. It showcases the everyday routine of a person and how ingrained a Timex timepiece is in that particular moment. Taking the American connection a step ahead, the TVC begins with a bright morning in the US wherein the 'Ironman' series is one's fitness partner. A casual look is complemented by a Timex 'Chronograph Grande'. One can go about the city without a worry of losing out time since you always have a Timex by your side. Out in the wilderness while taking a break from your daily routine and taking a dip in the lake, you can always rely on the 'Yacht Racer'. Love is an integral part of our lives and declaring your love for someone is made easy with the Timex 'Greenwich'. And if you are in the mood to play with colours and match your outfit with your timepiece, the 'Expedition Shock' is your buddy. No matter what mood or occasion, Timex is your go to time specialist. The TVC ends with a shot of the very famous and patented 'Indiglo technology' of Timex – a feature that helps you keep a track of time even in the dark.
The watch company is also celebrating more than 160 years of its glorious history. Founded in 1854 on the principle of producing affordable timepieces for everyone, Timex, earlier known as the Waterbury Clock Company, perfected mass-produced, dependable clock movements. With a countless first to its credit, it has become a well-known brand globally with watches that fit every category – fashion, adventure, luxury, sports, technology.
