The new AVPs include Kedar Mehendale (Strategic Initiatives), Patavarayan Chettiar (Media Programmatic), Abheek Biswas (Consumer Insights) and Maheshwar Bhadane (Video Strategy)

WATConsult, a leading digital and social media agency in India and part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, has recently beefed up its senior management team. The new Assistant Vice Presidents (AVP) in the team are Kedar Mehendale, Patavarayan Chettiar, Abheek Biswas and Maheshwar Bhadane.
Based out of Mumbai, the team will play a national role and overlook the agency’s growth strategy across India. The new team will also explore newer opportunities and build the recently launched verticals at WATConsult.
Kedar Mehendale joins WATConsult as AVP Strategic Initiatives. His role will be to build the Dentsu Aegis Network business for WATConsult. Mehendale has nearly 13 years of experience in Business Development, Brand Management and Key Account Management and has worked in the digital division of leading companies like Tribal DDB India, L&K Digital, Viacom 18 and Portico New York. Before joining WATConsult, Mehendale was with Trivone Digital Services for a short period.
Patavarayan (aka Ryan) Chettiar joins the company as AVP Media Programmatic. Ryan comes from Resultrix, a Publicis Groupe Company and has more than 18 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Strategizing and Consulting. He has worked with Musafir.com and Kingfisher Airlines in the past. He will ensure media delivery for WATConsult’s existing clients and grow the all-India media and programmatic business for the agency.
Abheek Biswas comes on board as AVP Consumer Insights. Biswas, a research and marketing professional, specialises in technology and digital domains. He joins the agency from IMRB International. Biswas has six years of experience in research based strategic consulting and he will be in charge of all consumer insights and the research division, through which he will drive custom and syndicated research.
Maheshwar Bhadane joins the WATConsult board as AVP Video Strategy. Bhadane is a media professional with seven years of experience. He will be in-charge of the video strategy division and drive the branded content video business, focusing on building the best digital video production unit in the country. Before joining WATConsult, Bhadane was with The Glitch, a leading digital agency, where he conceptualised and strategized the branded content division.
