Famous Innovations' Hayden Scott and Sumit Chaurasia have got shortlisted for the Young Lions Health Award for their 'The Incredible 4 Academy'. Interestingly, this is the only shortlisted entry from India.

The Young Lions Health Award in association with UNICEF aims to discover the next generation of young talent in creative communication. This is done through a competition focused on helping UNICEF raise awareness about the importance of children's first years of life for their social, emotional and cognitive development.

The winner will be invited to attend Lions Health on June 18-19, 2016 at Cannes, France, where they will receive their award during the official ceremony.

The participants were asked to propose a toolkit including a digital activation, print ad and video idea to raise awareness among caregivers about how early stimulation – including play, music, reading and singing, exposure to different textures and smells – helps foster children's cognitive, social and emotional development in the critical first years of life.

Children's caregivers are not restricted to parents only. Elements of the toolkit will be used as part of UNICEF's public awareness and communications strategy on early childhood development. The toolkit must be global in its appeal but with flexibility to be adapted locally.

Hayden Scott, Creative Director, Famous Innovations, said, "Sumit and I believe the more challenging the brief, the more interesting the solution. And this brief was as challenging as they come. It's a great honour to be the first Indian shortlist at the Young Lions Health Award which is only in its second year. The competition is tough, so we have our fingers and toes crossed."

The jury includes renowned names like Shakira, Colombian singer/songwriter, Grammy-winning artist and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador; Pia Rebello Britto, Chief of Early Childhood Development, UNICEF; Josh Prince, President, The CDM Group; Alexandra von Plato, Group President, Publicis Healthcare Communications Group; Al Race, Deputy Director and Chief Knowledge Officer, Harvard Center for the Developing Child and Claudia Gonzalez Romo, Chief of Public Advocacy, UNICEF.

Apart from Famous Innovations, the other shortlisted agencies include names like Ogilvy Healthword, Havas Life Medicom, Sudler, etc.
