Goafest 2016: JWT, Taproot shine at Creative Abby
With three Gold, JWT came out to be the star of the evening with a total of 17 metals, followed by Taproot bagging two Gold for a total of 18 metals. Contract Advertising is next with 16 metals, no Gold

The second awards night witnessed a full house, with the audience whistling and cheering with full enthusiasm for the most coveted awards of the advertising festival - Goafest. At the Creative Abby night, JWT came out to be the leader with maximum number of Gold while Taproot won the maximum number of metals.
A total of 188 metals were given during the second night of the Creative Abby awards. 18 Gold, 59 Silver and 111 Bronze were given.
In the Radio Single category, JWT won a Gold for Godrej's Dual Video Door Phone 'Mama' campaign, while Contract Advertising bagged maximum metals - 10 metals - in this category, followed by Scarecrow with five metals. In the Radio Craft Category, there was no Gold given. JWT bagged two Silver and Scarecrow bagged five metals in this category, taking Scarecrow's total tally to 10 Radio Abby.
In Print Craft, Taproot Dentsu won a Gold for Indian Outdoor Advertising Association's 'Newspaper Works Best in Outdoor; Radio Works Best in Outdoor; Television works best in Outdoor; Digital works Best in Outdoor' campaign. Apart from that they won 13 metals in the category.
In the Broadcaster category, two Gold, four Silver and 15 bronze were given. Star India and ZEEL won Gold. In the Public Relations category, eight Gold, nine Silver, and 16 Bronze were given. Sarva Integrated won two Gold, while some of them like JWT, Dentsu Webchutney, Cheil India each one a Gold.
The Direct category saw two Gold, nine Silver, and 13 Bronze. Taproot Dentsu and Dentsu Creative Impact each won a Gold. Branded Activation witnessed three Gold, 10 Silver and nine Bronze. JWT, DDB Mudra and Cheil India each won Gold in this category.
Lastly, for Branded Content, one Gold, eight Silver and five Bronze were given away. Brave New World took the Gold.
