Kyoorius has postponed the second edition of Zee Melt 2016 that had been scheduled in Delhi on March 11 and March 12. Melt is a two-day festival conceptualized in partnership with Zee Entertainment, Hindustan Times, GroupM and D&AD.
A statement from Kyoorius cited unavoidable circumstances as a reason for postponing the event. “This two- day festival of creativity and innovation in marketing and communications industry will be rescheduled due to a change in plans of our marquee speakers whose presence was critical,” the statement said. “The absence of these speakers would dilute the content that we had planned for our delegates and we would not like to compromise on that.”
The inaugural edition of Zee Melt was held at the NSCI Stadium in Mumbai on May 21 and May 22, 2015. On the new dates for the Zee Melt 2016, the organizers have said, “Considering the size and scope of the event, we will now discuss with our partners and speakers and close in on a mutually acceptable date, venue and logistics in the next few weeks. While this postponement may disappoint you and cause inconvenience, we took the decision in the firm belief that delivering anything less than a truly world-class event would be irresponsible on our part. We are confident that you will understand that it was not an easy decision for us to make.”
