Vh1 to simulcast 58th Grammy Awards
Indian viewers catch all the action straight from Los Angeles at 7.30 AM on Tuesday, February 16, with a primetime repeat at 9 PM

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will be brought live to Indian viewers by Vh1. It will be simulcast from Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 16, 2016 at 7.30 AM, with a primetime repeat at 9 PM the same evening.
Rapper LL Cool J will be the host for the evening for the fifth time consecutively. This year's awards night will be graced with performances by a league of renowned legends. The eclectic line-up comprises superlative artistes such as 11-time Grammy nominee Kendrick Lamar, seven-time nominee The Weeknd, along with 10-time Grammy Award winner Adele, to name just a few.

This year, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient David Bowie will be honoured with an experiential tribute performed by one of his biggest fans, six-time Grammy winner and current nominee Lady Gaga. The tribute aspires to be a multisensory testament to the icon's incredible artistry and a reflection of his limitless creativity, apart from providing his fans an opportunity to hear Bowie's music once again. The tribute will mark Lady Gaga's fourth appearance on the Grammy Awards telecast. She has been nominated for the category 'Best Song Written for Visual Media' for "Til It Happens To You", along with Diane Warren.
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads with 11 nominations, followed by Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, who have each earned seven. Music producer and songwriter Max Martin has received six nominations and mastering engineer Tom Coyne, rapper Drake, and engineers/mixers Serban Ghenea and John Hanes have earned five nominations each.
The channel has leveraged the Grammys through various innovative associations and tie-ups. Vh1 has associated with 15 of the best hangouts across ten cities in India, Including Hard Rock Café, to screen the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Jean Claude Biguine has been roped in to create exclusive Grammy red carpet looks across all their outlets. Vh1 will be conducting a unique college activation where they will be sending a Grammy branded car to three of the most popular college campuses across Mumbai, Delhi and Pune to galvanize students. They will also reach out to more than a 100 colleges across India through their extensive college network.
Vh1 has organized a special “Ticket to Ride”, giving one lucky winner, an opportunity to attend and witness the biggest and most prestigious music awards ceremony. The Annual Grammy Awards is a part of an illustrious award show line-up aired live on Vh1, including the Golden Globe Awards, The American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Video Music Awards and Europe Music Awards.
