India's total metals tally at 62nd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the lowest in the last five years. Indian agencies managed to secure 13 Lions and two Lions Health wins at the Festival this year, compared with 27 metals in 2014.

Glass Lions and Outdoor Lions wins were the only facesavers. India took home its solitary Grand Prix this year in Glass Lions, which went to BBDO India for its work titled 'Touch the Pickle' done for P&G India's Whisper Sanitary Napkins.

Outdoor fetched India six Lions – three Silver and three Bronze Lions.

While Indian agencies had won five Gold Lions in 2014, this year the yellow metal eluded India as it could bring back home only six Silver Lions and five Bronze Lions.

Among Indian agencies, the winners included:

BBDO India: 1 Glass Grand Prix, 1 Glass Lion and 1 Media Lion – Bronze

McCann Worldgroup India: 2 Silver Lions in Press and 2 Silver Lions in Outdoor

Grey Worldwide India: 1 Silver Lion in Press and 1 Bronze Lion in Outdoor

Creativeland Asia: 1 Silver Lion in Outdoor

Taproot Dentsu: 1 Bronze Lion in Press

DDB Mudra Group: 1 Bronze Lion in Outdoor

Ogilvy & Mather: 1 Bronze Lion in Outdoor

India also won two Lions Health and both were in the Pharma category – Silver Lion for Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai and a Bronze Lion for Medulla Communications Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Hindustan Unilever's much celebrated Kan Khajura Tesan campaign won a Bronze Creative Effectiveness Lion. The campaign, conceptualised by Lowe Lintas India, was entered by Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide, London.
