Cannes Lions 2015: India secures 18 shortlists in Press, one in Direct
McCann and Grey India top with 5 entries each. The only shortlist in Direct Lions is TBWA\India's 'Dreams on Swaddles' campaign

Cannes Lions 2015 has announced the shortlists for Press, Direct, Promo & Activation and Mobile categories today marking the first shortlists announced for the festival of creativity this year.
India secured only one shortlist in Direct Lions from a total of 74 entries sent. TBWA\India's 'Dreams on Swaddles' campaign done for IDFC Mutual Fund has been shortlisted under the subcategory Targeted Ambient Media: Small Scale.
Indian agencies secured 18 shortlists in the Press category. McCann Worldgroup India and Grey Worldwide India had five entries each. There were three shortlists each from Contract Advertising and Cheil India. Taproot India secured two shortlists.
There were 132 entries for Press Lions from India this year which is the lowest number of entries sent in the last five years.
No Indian entry was shortlisted in Mobile and Promo & Activation categories this year.
