Submission of entries for the Media Abby Awards 2015 is open now. The last date for submitting entries across categories is February 24, 2015. Organisers have informed that the entries can be submitted in digital format. The entry form for the Media Abby Awards is available on The Advertising Club website.
Entries for the awards can be submitted across several categories. The same entry can be submitted under a maximum of three different categories from the 13 mentioned below. The categories are:
In the ‘Specialist Categories’ section, each entry will be judged specifically on its appropriateness to the target audience, regardless of the medium used.
13. Youth Marketing
14. Pro Bono Marketing (this is an exclusive category. Entries of this cannot be entered in other categories)
South Asian countries can also submit their entries in all the above categories, except ‘Best Use of Integrated Campaign’, and compete with Indian entries. A Special Award has been constituted for South Asian countries (excluding India) for entering their Integrated Campaign entries.
The organising committee has informed that there will be only one Media Abby Grand Prix Award across all categories i.e. 1 to 14. This will go to the best amongst all Gold Winners. The Grand Prix is awarded to an entry that is a Gold winner in a particular category. As is followed internationally, on the event day, only the Grand Prix will be awarded for the said entry. In the metal tally for the awards, only the winning Grand Prix will be accounted for, and exclude the Gold won for that entry.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to be a part of Goafest 2015 that is scheduled from April 9 to 11, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt, Bambolim.
Goafest 2015 will be in its tenth edition and this is the eighth year that AAAI and The Advertising Club will come together to deliver ABBYs.
