Zoom appoints Sunder Venketraman as VP and Product Head

Venketraman refutes rumours of channel converting to a music one and says that the changes happening are only organisational

Times Television Network's Zoom now has a new Vice-President and Product head- Sunder Venketraman.  He will look into content development and programming and will directly report to MK Anand, CEO and MD, Times Television Network.

Venkatraman will closely work with the business and leadership team to ensure Zoom's portfolio grows and it becomes more profitable. His strongest area is content development which will help channel get more viewership.

Happy with his new role, Venketraman said, “I accepted the job as it was a better opportunity and currently I am looking forward to build Zoom as a brand.”

On rubbishing the market rumours about strategic and structural programming changes happening at Zoom, Venketraman said, “Zoom will not become a music channel. Channel's positioning will remain Bollywood and all changes happening are organisational.”

Before joining Zoom, Sunder Venketraman was working as the Head of Programming, 9XM. Prior to 9XM, he has worked with MTunes , UTV, Channel  , ZEE ARABIYA and B4U Music.

Sunder has a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune, specializing in Audio-Visual Production. He also has a Bachelors of Commerce Degree from S.I. E.S College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University.
