As Balaji Telefilms is all set to launch Box Cricket League, White Rivers Digital as won the digital marketing mandate of BCL. The format was originally conceptualised by Sunny Arora & Anand Mishra of Marinating films last year and the league is co-owned by them.
As the name suggests, Box Cricket League will be a cricket-based reality show, featuring India’s top 150 TV celebrities divided in 8 different city teams. It is a unique mélange of Cricket, Entertainment and locker room drama. The digital strategy will focus on generating buzz around the league, intriguing the league audience via social media vehicles and replicating the locker room drama on digital platforms innovatively.
