Across Asia, there's nothing that unites people more or provokes discussions than the continent's love for food. So it's no surprise that people of this region pay special attention to their culinary delights. TLC presents a delicious line up of five series bringing in the authentic Asian cuisines in its special programme line-up, 'Flavours of Asia'.

Amongst the famous chefs bringing their unique flavours to 'Flavours of Asia' are Luke Nguyen, Gok Wan, Kylie Kwong and Bobby Chinn. Adding a touch of their style in everything they prepare, these chefs are on a spree to re-invent and present some of the most delicious food from Asia.

Adding excitement in the month of January, 'Flavours of Asia' will air from Monday to Friday at 8PM.

Rahul Johri, Senior VP and General Manager – South Asia and Head of Revenue, Pan-Regional Ad Sales and Southeast Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said, “TLC is the preferred destination to savour the flavours of the world through its delectable food programmes. We are delighted to bring in the New Year with FLAVOURS OF ASIA. The new programme band will entertain viewers and generate appointment viewing at 8 pm.”

Flavours of Asia will feature the appetising Asian cuisines ranging from Vietnamese, Chinese to Japanese. LUKE NGUYEN'S MEMORIES OF VIETNAM will take a look at Chef Luke's exploration of Vietnam and its cuisine, including behind-the-scenes stories from his travels. While Luke travels to find the hidden flavours in Vietnam, Gok reveals his love for home cooked Chinese food and how it has been the heart of his family. In GOK COOKS CHINESE, he shows viewers the basics of Chinese cooking and demonstrates how to cook the perfect Chinese meal in few minutes. From cooking with fisherman to colourful encounters with flamboyant street vendors Kylie in her series KYLIE KWONG MY CHINA conjures up her very own culinary travelogue spiced with adventure.
