Times Internet (TIL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Pursuitist.com, a leading luxury website featuring the latest reviews and news about luxury brands, automakers, hotels and resorts, and fashion and technology for affluent readers. Through this partnership, Times Internet will manage and create a localised site that combines Pursuitist editorial with content specific to the expanding Indian market.
As part of the collaboration, Times Internet will have exclusive rights to the brand and its content in India, as well as the significant media opportunity it brings to the country. TIL intends to use The Times Group's multimedia resources to help develop and evangelize the Pursuitist brand locally.
With over 200,000 Facebook fans, Pursuitist.com combines upscale products, reviews and information about the luxury industry in one online destination for affluent consumers. The editorial features are split into arts, auto, epicurean, family, green, house, style, tech and travel.
The partnership grows the list of brands under the Times Local Partners (TLP) group, an initiative by Times Internet to partner with global digital companies. Pursuitist.com joins the growing TLP portfolio, which has already rolled out the Indian editions of Gizmodo, Lifecracker, Business Insider, IGN and Askmen.
Satyan Gajwani, CEO, Times Internet, said, “We are really excited about this partnership and the coming of Pursuitist.com to India. There’s a need for online luxury destinations with original coverage and content.
