TLC to air new India-centric food series

This festival season, lifestyle channel TLC brings a refreshing new food series, 'Ravinder's Kitchen'. Hosted by award-winning UK TV home cook, food writer and stylist Ravinder Bhogal, the latest India commission will take viewers on a gastronomical journey as Ravinder whips up some delectable dishes from across the globe in her signature inimitable style. The show will premiere on October 28, 2013 and air every night at 8 PM.
Ravinder's Kitchen is a perfect melting pot of mouthwatering experiences and scrumptious delights from across the world including India dished out with love by the gorgeous Ravinder. Taking viewers on a food safari, she will cook famous dishes of different countries with her own twist in her kitchen. From 'Rum Mango Lassi' to 'Rogan Josh Roast' to 'Apple Jalebis', Ravinder's creations are stylish and absolutely gorgeous.

Ravinder, a resident of South-east London, is an award-winning UK TV food fanatic, food writer, stylist and television personality who was propelled into the culinary limelight when crowned Britain's New Fanny Cradock by Gordon Ramsay. Many years later, Ravinder released her first Cook book 'Cook in Boots' that caters to their moods, their busy lifestyles and is yet accessible and fun. 'Cook in Boots' won the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards that featured 26,000 books from 136 countries, for the UK's Best First Cookbook. It was also awarded the first runners-up prize for the World's Best First Cookbook at the Paris Cookbook Fair in February 2010.
