Top shows in TVT: Star Plus keeps 4 slots in weekday shows; Colors robust at weekend

As Diya Aur Baati on Star Plus retains its leadership, Colors' Balika Vadhu takes a big jump to claim the No. 2 position on the basis of the first TVT data for Week 30 of TAM 2013

The first TVT data released for Week 30 (July 21 - July 27) of TAM 2013 has brought a lot of changes in the pecking order except the No. 1 slots of weekday and weekend shows. Respecting the recent resolution passed by IBF, ISA and AAAI that the TVR% is not for public consumption, BestMediaInfo.com will henceforth report the ratings and rankings on the basis of TVT (in 000's).

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 30 of TAM 2013 (July 21 - July 27) for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus continued to rule the weekday chart with four shows in the top 10 list. Colors held three slots followed by Zee TV with 2 shows and SAB TV with one show.

Colors continued to rule weekend programming where its shows 'Comedy Night with Kapil' and 'Jhalk Dikhhla Jaa' topped the chart.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVT in 000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus topped weekday programming. The show fetched an average TVT of 9133 (last week 9121).

Colors' Balika Vadhu jumped 4 positions to become the second most watched show of the week. Its average TVT was recorded at 8018 against last week's 6175.

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma slipped one position to No. 3 in Week 30. The show fetched an average TVT of 7724 against last week's 7786.

Zee TV's Qubool Hai climbed to No. 3 this week with an average TVT of 7380 (last week 6479).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus was at No. 5 this week with 6114 TVT. Yeh Rishta had an average TVT of 6936 last week.

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus slipped one position to No. 6 recording an average TVT of 5939 (last week 6330).

Colors' fiction show Sasural Simar Ka held No. 7 position with an average rating of 5658 TVT (last week 5861).

Star Plus' Saathiya was at No. 8 this week. The show garnered an average TVT of 5460 (last week 5639).

Colors' Madhubala rose one position to No. 9 this week with an average rating of 4822 TVT (last week 4526).

Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV was at No. 10 this week. The show fetched an average TVT of 4472 (last week 4232).

Weekend toppers

Colors' Comedy Night with Kapil gained further and remained at the top of weekend shows. The show averaged at 6352 TVT (last week 5537).

Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja improved further to take the No. 2 slot with average TVT of 5272 in (last week 5167).

Sony's crime show, CID, fetched an average TVT of 5169 (last week 5451).

DID Super Moms on Zee TV averaged at 4606 TVT (last week 4295).

Sony's Indian Idol Junior recorded an average TVT of 4146 (last week 4452).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVT of 3954 (last week 3309).

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 3906 TVT this week (last week 4270).

Star Plus dancing reality show India's Dancing Superstar recorded average TVT of 3427 (last week 3691).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 2955 TVT (last week 2652).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 1971 TVT (last week 2039.
