Cannes Lions 2013: Ogilvy leads Indian shortlists in Design Lions
Among 19 shortlists from India, Ogilvy secures 8 shortlists followed by McCann with 4, Taproot and BBDO with 2 each and JWT, Leo Burnett and TBWA with 1 shortlist each

On the third day of 60th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Indian agencies secured 19 shortlists for the Design Lions while there was no shortlist in Cyber, Mobile and Radio categories. Ogilvy & Mather Gurgaon led the Indian charge in Design shortlists with 8 nominations followed by 4 shortlists by McCann Worldgroup.
Taproot India and BBDO India secured two shortlists each. Leo Burnett India, JWT India and TBWA\India have got 1 nomination each.
For the record, Indian agencies had got 8 shortlists in Design where DDB Mudra Group had brought a Gold and a Bronze home. In Radio categories, there were 2 shortlists from India where Leo Burnett had won a Bronze Lion.

This year, 234 entries have been shortlisted in Press category that attracted 2373 entries from 70 countries, an increase of 9% compared with 2012.
Mary Lewis, Creative Director, Founding Partner, Lewis Moberley is the Jury President for Design Lions while Bhupal Ramnathkar, Chairman & Founder, Umbrella Design is the jury member from India.
The Design Lions trophies will be presented during the Cyber, Design, Press and Radio Lions Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday evening 19 June in the Grand Auditorium, Palais des Festivals.
