With the buzz around Goafest 2013, India's most awaited advertising festival, building up, there is also an increasing excitement for the Advertising Conclave preceding it. The conclave, sponsored by the Discovery Channel, with the theme, 'Time to Listen' will bring together heads of some of India's biggest advertisers, media owners and that of media and creative agencies. Over 150 such senior people have already registered for this Conclave. The 8th edition of the Conclave will be held on 4th April 2013 at Zuri White Sands, Goa from 3:30PM – 7:30PM.

Speakers at the Conclave include Nitin Paranjpe, MD and CEO Hindustan Unilever (who will deliver the keynote address), Harit Nagpal, MD and CEO Tata Sky, Arundhati Bhattacharya, MD, SBI Capital Marketers and Arunabh Das Sharma, President Bennett Coleman, R S Sodhi, Managing Director, GCMMF (Amul) and Suresh Bandi, Deputy Managing Director, Panasonic India. Sunil Alagh, Founder and Chairman of SKA Advisors and former MD of Britannia, will moderate a lively panel discussion with the distinguished speakers.

Speaking on this, Srinivasan Swamy, Chairman of Goafest Advertising Conclave said, “it is probably the first time that we have confluence of such senior level people coming to our Conclave. This is the outcome of some of the top speakers we were able to attract and the theme of the Conclave which allows advertisers to speak frankly about the agencies services”.

The Conclave will highlight the shortcomings of Media and Creative Agencies, as perceived by major advertisers and help the industry map its future course.
