Cheil Worldwide SW Asia appoints Hari Krishnan as Chief Operating Officer
Krishnan joins from WPP where he was Head, Global Team Ford- a consortium of JWT, Mindshare and Wunderman

Cheil Worldwide SW Asia has appointed Hari Krishnan as its Chief Operating Officer. He joins from WPP where he was Head, Global Team Ford- a consortium of JWT, Mindshare and Wunderman.
Hari Krishnan will start his role from January 2013 and lead Cheil Worldwide SW Asia's growth agenda. He will build on the agency's rapidly evolving track record for delivering diverse communications solutions making it one of the strongest integrated agencies in India.
Krishnan previously headed WPP Global Team Ford where he set up the first co-located office of three different specialist agencies for WPP in the Asia-Pacific Region. Krishnan is a well-known advertising and communication figure with a career spanning over two decades where he has held senior leadership roles with JWT India, Grey Worldwide and Bates India, among others.

In a career span of 20 years in advertising, Krishnan has worked with some of the leading organisations including WPP Global Team Ford, JWT India, Grey Worldwide, Bates India, Ogilvy & Mather, Clarion and Anthem. Prior to establishing WPP Global Team Ford India, Krishnan was at JWT India as Executive Business Director, PepsiCo Beverages, where he led agency teams on the PepsiCo portfolio comprising Pepsi Cola, Slice, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, Tropicana and Aquafina. At Grey, Krishnan led the agency as General Manager and Branch head of its New Delhi office. Prior to that whilst he was at Bates India, he played a pivotal role in consolidating the teams after the Bates takeover of Clarion. Preceding this, he has worked at Ogilvy & Mather, and Anthem (now TBWA).
A graduate in Economics from Delhi University, Krishnan is also passionate about sketching, painting, trekking, running and fitness.
