Festival of Media Asia appoints Coca-Cola's Leonardo O'Grady as Jury chair

The Festival of Media Asia Awards has announced the appointment of Leonard O'Grady, Director - ASEAN Integrated Marketing Communications, Coca-Cola, as the chair of the jury for 2013. In its second year, 2013 Festival of Media Asia Awards is accepting entries till November 30, 2012. The shortlists will be announced on January 31, 2012 while the awards ceremony will take place on March 5, 2013.
O'Grady commented, “These awards are all about creative media thinking and I hope to see some illuminating insights, clear strategy and brilliant ideas – beautifully executed and concisely explained. I am honoured to be the chair of the jury for the Festival of Media Asia Awards 2013.”
After completing his BA at McGill University in Canada and MA at Johns Hopkins University, O'Grady went to Italy where he joined Echo, specialising in Entertainment Marketing. In Singapore he launched Beyond DDB and also co-founded Rapp Collins and served as Partner in the brand consulting arm of DDB, the SpringBoard Group. He then served a brief stint as the Singapore Coca-Cola Brand Director. In 2001 he joined Saatchi & Saatchi as Business Director. His brand management experience in Singapore and Asia includes: CAAS, United Overseas Bank , Dow Jones, HBO, VW, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Tower Records, Compaq, Lexus, Toyota, Sony, Guinness, Nestle and Ricola to name a few. O'Grady joined Coca-Cola Asia Pacific Group Office in 2006 where he has led IMC for the region, and was part of the brand team leading Sprite globally.
