The world has become smaller and more responsive, thanks to technological advancements and digitization, information and news broadcasting is getting more personalized by the day. It is a true game changer that has also ensured that viewer's response can also be gauged on near real time basis.

The Digitization has completely changed TV viewing experience. The transition from analog television to digital has brought a bouquet of benefits to the people.

Understanding future needs and trends on information and broadcast mediums and the critical role digitization will play; Zee News extends full support to government's decision to go digitisation in TV space – a move that will help in expanding and growth of the electronic media industry. Being a pioneer with many path breaking initiatives to its credit, Zee News has launched a mass awareness campaign- “D for Digital” - from October 12th to educate people about impact of digitization.  The campaign will empower citizens about key issues and help them make informed choices for a better future.

The campaign “Iss Tasveer Ko badal dalo - D for Digital” aims to create awareness and educate viewers/customers about importance of digitization and its benefits.

Zee News, being a responsible media house, has planned a series of engagement activities in 3 metros – Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata- like quiz, painting etc under this mass education campaign. In addition to this a live demonstration, with support of Dish TV, about the impact of digitization has also been planned. This will facilitate product experience and awareness for smooth transition from analog to digital for an improved and hassle free high quality TV viewing experience.

The on ground campaign has started from Delhi on October 14. Detailed information about the campaign is available on following weblink: www.zeenews.com/digital.
