Hathway announces DAS packages

Offers channels at less than Rs. 1 per channel per month; the offer will be applicable to all consumers commencing from November 1

TV viewing was never so exciting and affordable! With the aim of making cable TV accessible to a large section of the masses, Hathway today announced four new attractive DAS packages for customers in Mumbai. With Hathway's uniquely priced packages, Hathway's customers will be able to view digital quality television for a full month for less than Rs. 1 per channel.

Hathway's attractively priced pay packages will offer customers the best choice of channels at the most affordable cost. With the Basic Pay Tier Package, consumers will be able to watch 176 channels comprising all their favourite categories for only Rs. 160 + Taxes. The Medium Pay Tier Package will allow consumers to watch 233 TV channels for only Rs. 220 + Taxes. The Premium Pay Package has been developed for avid TV viewers who really love watching TV and don't watch to miss anything on air. Consumers subscribing to this package will be able to watch a bouquet of 258 channels for Rs. 275 per month + Taxes. All packages include Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GECs), Hindi Movies, Hindi News, International Channels, Kids Channels, Sports, Infotainment, Lifestyle, Music Regional, All India Radio and some interactive game channels.

To meet statutory requirements, Hathway will also offer a Basic Tier Service Package comprising Free To Air channels which will cost the consumer only Rs. 100 + Taxes per month. Consumers subscribing to the basic packages also have the option to subscribe to the India Cricket package with an additional cost of Rs. 365 per year + Taxes. There are also some add-on packs which are being developed for these subscribers which will be announced shortly.

This will be applicable to all consumers commencing from November 1, 2012.
