publive-imageFox Star Studios, as part of consolidating its media operations in the Indian market, has appointed Aegis Media's Vizeum India as its media AOR. Vizeum will handle Fox Star Studio's media mandate to help them connect with their relevant consumers. Vizeum handles the Fox business in 20 other countries. According to market estimates, the account is worth upwards of Rs 25 crore.

Confirming the appointment of Vizeum India, Vivek Krishnani, Head - Distribution, Marketing and Syndication, Fox Star Studios, said, “We operate in an Industry where information availability is a challenge and spending decisions need to be more scientific. Being part of a global setup, it puts challenges on us to create accountability for the resources invested in promoting our films. Vizeum brings an understanding of the media environment and the media dynamics which will help us optimise our media spends and help deliver a better ROI. There are interesting times ahead for both of us.”

S Yesudas, Managing Director, Indian Sub-continent, Vizeum, said, “We are delighted at this opportunity. We also have another reason to celebrate. This business moves to Vizeum based on the client's evaluation and satisfaction of our local abilities, and not just the global credential. It indeed was a long process. We will bring on board our best in class global expertise, combined with what the local market needs from a theatrical marketing perspective. We thank the Fox Star Studios management for placing their faith in us. This business will be handled out of our Mumbai office.”
