In the lead up to the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, creative agency, Manja has come up with a project based ad campaign for Disney+ Hotstar.

Conceptualised by Arvind Krishnan and Prajato Guha-led ad agency, the campaign is built on the foundation that Disney+ Hotstar will be streaming the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2023 live and free of cost

The ad aimed to bring the OTT platform to the mobile screens of many in small-towns of India and is currently running on both TV and digital platforms.

Titled ‘Poora ICC Men's Cricket World Cup for FREE on mobile’, the 50 second ad is a western style drama which features an entire village holding Kapil Dev hostage as they seek ‘guarantee’ against power cuts instances during the streaming of the tournament.

The cop on duty then clarifies that the villagers need not worry about any discrepancy in viewing the tournament as the matches would stream live and free of cost on Disney+ Hotstar and that too with an option to view the same on data saving mode.
