Sameer Seth joins Star India as AVP, Marketing
His last assignment was with CNN-IBN where he was General Manager, Marketing, and will be based in Mumbai

Star India has appointed Sameer Seth as AVP – Marketing to drive affiliate marketing for the entire network. Additionally, he will look after the marketing of HD channels and trade marketing. He will be based in Mumbai.
Sources close to the development have informed BestMediaInfo that Seth joined Star India last week. At the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained who he will report to.
Seth's last assignment was with CNN-IBN where he spent about six years and rose to become General Manager, Marketing. He had quit CNN-IBN in September 2011.
Seth had joined CNN-IBN in 2005 from Dish TV where he was Manager – Marketing for two years.
An MBA from International Management Institute, Seth had started his career with Mediworld Group in 2001 as Business Manager – Communications.
