New Delhi: Advertisements need to meet a plethora of expectations but creativity and charm are two focal points that brands seldom compromise on.
This week, BestMediaInfo.com has included work done by Coca-Cola India, Vi, Maggi, Swiggy, Godrej Capital, Bajaj Allianz Life and Flipkart.
1. Coca-Cola India promotes conversations on sustainable benches made of recycled waste
In celebration of World Environment Day, Coca-Cola India launched #BenchPeBaat, a campaign aimed at reviving the spirit of true connections and conversations among people.
Coca-Cola India through its foundation, Anandana, in partnership with United Way Mumbai has installed 380 sustainable benches in 10 cities in India. These repurposed benches are crafted from recycled plastic waste collected during the ICC World Cup 2023.
Each bench is created from approximately 50 Kgs of recycled plastic waste. These eco-friendly benches have been installed in schools, colleges, public parks, and municipal corporation offices across 10 cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Dharamshala, and Lucknow.
2. Vi addresses loneliness amongst empty nesters
The film titled “Durga Puja” draws inspiration from the feeling of empty nesters who often experience loneliness during the festive season. The film shows that even the smallest of actions like a quick video call can go a long way to make parents feel loved, closer and cared for.
The story opens to a set of parents talking to their son on a video call, expressing how they are missing him at home during Durga Puja. The doorbell then rings to reveal a delivery boy delivering sweets, stating it is from their son, adding that he has also sent something else (A surprise!). The delivery boy then goes on to hug the father. The emotional father in return hugs the delivery person warmly, while thinking of his son who made his presence felt even while being miles away. Parents are then seen having another video call with their son, now laughing, and feeling happy while enjoying the delicious sweets sent by their son.
3. Maggi elucidates the ‘right way’ to dispose its packet
On World Environment Day, under the ‘Desh Ke Liye 2 Minute’ initiative, Maggi shared the story of a young Nestlé executive on how she gives 2 minutes for the environment.
This initiative is aimed at educating consumers in the right way of disposing an empty Maggi packet.
4. Swiggy brings back ‘Gulaab Jamun Uncle’ as T20 season kicks off
The campaign features ad films that show Uncle enjoying his favourite treats without interruption. In one of the ads, Uncle navigates his food cravings while Aunty prepares to attend a wedding.
These ad films are supported by commentator Bhogle's commentary pieces.
5. Godrej Capital captures ‘rags to riches’ story of business owner
As part of the campaign, the brand has released a new digital film conceptualised by Publicis India. The storyline uses a cinematic lens to capture the bittersweet emotional journey of a business owner transitioning from a small shop to a larger and more successful venture, revealing a moment of triumph and growth.
6. Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance unveils ‘thumb rule’ of ‘10X’ for term insurance
The cornerstone of this campaign is the 'Thumb Rule'—advising individuals to secure term insurance coverage that is at least 10 times their annual income. Shubman Gill, the cricketer, stepped into a new role to guide viewers through the essentials of term insurance.
7. Flipkart delivers nostalgia with entertainment stars
