Delhi: Dream11, an Indian fantasy sports platform, has been a staple name associated with the Indian Premier League for a few years now. From sponsorships, giveaways, ads, and more, the brand has always hit the ball out of the court when it came to integrating itself with one of the most prominently watched leagues of the nation.

Apart from investing across the spectrum in sponsorships, OOH, TV ads, content creators and more, the brand has shelled out big bucks for its latest ad that has bought under one roof, celebrities from various fields. Last year it was Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi and this year the list has gone bigger.

The advertisement from the fantasy sports platform features an array of celebrity cameos, elevating its star power. Departing from last year's actors vs cricketers theme, Dream11 has introduced teams facing off against each other, friends competing, and even brothers in the spotlight in its latest commercial.

The brand emphasises the message "Jab T20 league ka fever chadega, har koi #TeamSeBadaKuchNahi kahega,” resonating with cricket enthusiasts.

With clear battle lines drawn, cricketers prioritise their team allegiances above all else. Rishabh Pant sternly prevents Rohit Sharma from boarding the "team" bus, while brothers Krunal and Hardik Pandya set aside their familial ties. Shreyas Iyer faces ruthless teasing from Mumbai Indians supporters.

Even fans get in on the action, with entertaining appearances by Daler Mehndi, Samantha Prabhu, Preity Zinta, Suneil Shetty, Danish Sait, Supriya Pathak, and Krishnamachari Srikkanth, each going to amusing lengths to support their favourite teams.

The advertisement has garnered positive feedback on social media, amassing over 26 million views on YouTube within a day of its release. Comments predominantly praise its innovative approach.

Tilt Brand Solutions conceptualised the ad, with Nitesh Tiwari directing. Tiwari was also the creative mind behind Dream11's viral 3 Idiots-inspired ad for IPL 2023.

Last year’s campaign featured a discussion amongst the 3 idiots cast. While journalists speculated that they had gathered there for a sequel of the film 3 Idiots, the trio shocked those gathered. They state that they're there to deliver a press conference on cricket and compete with the cricketers because the latter are competing with actors by taking on roles in advertisements.

In 2020, Dream11 assumed the role of an IPL sponsor for Rs 222 crore. Along with being one among the sponsors, it has also been roped in as a co-presenter of the league on Disney Star this year.

Dream11 has also extended sponsorship to eight Indian Premier League (IPL) teams.

Last year’s Axis My India The May report revealed that Dream11secured the highest recall among viewers.
