TV9 Group has announced that Deep Upadhyay, Editor, Convergence and Strategy, will take over as the Interim Editor of TV9 Hindi and English websites.
As per the Group, Upadhyay will also coordinate with the other regional digital assets of TV9.
TV9 Group said that after gaining leadership in the broadcast space, it is also making significant strides in the digital arena.
The Group said it aspires to replicate its success in broadcast across its digital properties and, therefore, arrived at the decision to hand over the reins of its Hindi and English websites to Upadhyay.
This comes barely a week after BV Rao, Group Editor of TV9 Network, decided to part ways with TV9. Rao, as per a video doing the rounds on the internet, had chosen to step down on the same day as Shailesh Chaturvedi, Editor Digital (Hindi) at TV9 Bharatvarsh, who also moved on from the network.
