Cannes Lions 2022: The incredible Indian performance in numbers

Indian agencies end their 2022 campaign at Cannes Lions with the best-ever haul of 47 medals spread across 20 categories. Here’s a look at the final numbers

Even Dentsu Creative India's leadership was keeping their fingers crossed for the biggest ever accolade any Indian agency would have got at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity - Agency of the Year. And finally on Friday night, it became a reality as the agency was called on stage to accept the Agency of the Year award.

India has wrapped up its Cannes Lions campaign with the best-ever haul of 47 medals including 5 Grand Prix, 2 Titanium, 8 Gold, 18 Silver and 14 Bronze Lions.

While the awards came from 20 categories, India had no show in 9 categories – Creative B2B, Print & Publishing, Pharma, Outdoor, Film Craft, Entertainment Lions for Sports, Entertainment Lions for Music, Design and Creative Strategy.
