Even Dentsu Creative India's leadership was keeping their fingers crossed for the biggest ever accolade any Indian agency would have got at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity - Agency of the Year. And finally on Friday night, it became a reality as the agency was called on stage to accept the Agency of the Year award.
India has wrapped up its Cannes Lions campaign with the best-ever haul of 47 medals including 5 Grand Prix, 2 Titanium, 8 Gold, 18 Silver and 14 Bronze Lions.
While the awards came from 20 categories, India had no show in 9 categories – Creative B2B, Print & Publishing, Pharma, Outdoor, Film Craft, Entertainment Lions for Sports, Entertainment Lions for Music, Design and Creative Strategy.
