Dipashree Das, Content and Brand Marketing Lead at Netflix has quit the OTT platform. Her last day at work was June 17, 2022.

She took to LinkedIn to share the update and wrote, “I recently made the decision to wrap up an almost 6-year stint at a place I have had the highest honour of calling my professional home, Netflix. Oh, and what a wild ride it has been! Netflix is a place like no other, it changes you, redefines you, bends you out of shape, and makes you believe in yourself in a measure you didn't think possible.”

Her exact next move is not yet known, but she posted on LinkedIn that she will be moving to Singapore at an entertainment company to take up an APAC level role.

She wrote, “About a week from now I return to a city that has always felt like home, to take on an APAC+ role at a very exciting company that is reshaping every facet of entertainment as we know it.”

At Netflix, she was leading marketing for the Films portfolio. Das moved to Netflix Mumbai to take up this role after a 2-year stint in Netflix Singapore, leading marketing partnerships for SEA & Taiwan.

Before Netflix, she was with Singtel, leading Regional Channel Partnerships, Trade Marketing and Sales Strategy. She has also worked at Channel NewsAsia, leading strategy and content creation for digital and social media platforms.

Previously, she has also worked at Oak3 Films, NDTV and Unilever.

Das is an ardent champion of women in business and espouses the cause actively, at work and outside. Her journey of navigating life and career in Asia was chronicled in the book Dear Ms Expat. She was also profiled in the Mercedes' Benz initiative Women of Wisdom, alongside stalwarts of India's media, arts and business community.

Das has spoken at several prestigious conferences across Asia and has been a guest lecturer at SCMHRD, Sophia College Mumbai, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Business School, NTU. She has recently launched her podcast Bulletproof by Dipashree Das on Spotify, which profiles the stories of incredible women who turned their harshest life adversities into their biggest wins.
