Prashan Agarwal, the CEO of Gaana, has stepped down from his position. Confirming his exit on LinkedIn, Agarwal said, "After an amazing five years of leading Gaana to be the No. 1 music streaming service in India, I am stepping down from my role as CEO and am extremely grateful to my wonderful colleagues, music industry partners and investors who put so much trust and empowerment in enabling me to deliver."

Also an Angel investor, Agarwal's previous roles include the Co-founder and CEO of He was the Co-founder of from 2011-15. Under his leadership, the streaming platform rose to be the biggest platform in India with almost a 30% market share and more than 150 million downloads.
