L'Oreal India calls for a media pitch

Cosmetic giant L'Oréal India has called for a media pitch. The estimated account size is around Rs 400 crore. The incumbent on the account is Wavemaker.

Multiple highly placed sources have confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com. When contacted, L'Oréal India refused to comment on the development.

India’s top media agencies are known to be participating in the pitch. Before MEC and Maxus officially merged to become Wavemaker, the account was being handled by Maxus since 2010.

The sources said the pitch has been called for the brand’s entire media services comprising strategy, communications planning, integrated media approach, investment and buying for all the brands across hair, skin and make-up categories.

Headquartered in Mumbai, L’Oréal India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of L’Oréal S.A. since 1994. The company is present in all distribution channels with more than 15 brands, available in mass-market channels (L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New-York, NYX); in hair and beauty salons (L’Oréal Professionnel, Matrix, Kérastase, Cheryl’s Cosmeceuticals, Decleor); in selective distribution (Kiehl’s, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Diesel).
