Brands bring different colours to the celebration of Diwali

Diwali, one of the most celebrated festivals in India, is not just about lights and decoration. It’s about the celebration of joy and warmth shared among friends, family and even strangers. The festival of lights binds everyone together to rejoice the win of good over evil. Brands have come up with some heart-warming campaigns to celebrate Diwali this year.

Oppo

#BestDiwaliGift

Oppo’s new ad #BestDiwaliGift tells the story of a mother-daughter relationship. The film starts with a little suspense about the secret that has been kept by the mother from her daughter. The scene changes to the daughter doing her last minute Diwali shopping. She is seen buying a bulk of everything, be it sweets or lights. The story unfolds when she visits the same orphanage from where her mother adopted her. She confesses to her mother that she knew the reality and is very happy and grateful to her for everything. The film ends with the daughter giving her mother Oppo F9 pro.

An old man enters his house and closes all the doors and windows. The audience gets the idea that he dislikes and avoids crackers. But as the story proceeds, a dog is seen hiding under the bed, afraid of all the noise. The old man then switches on his Saregama Carvaan. The dog is quite relieved from the noise of crackers and sits on its master’s lap.
