Cannes Lions 2018 announced the shortlists for Outdoor, Design, Print & Publishing, Mobile and Radio & Audio Lions on the opening day. Indian agencies have secured a total of 9 shortlists across five categories.
India has four shortlists in the Outdoor category. Creativeland Asia has fetched 3 shortlists for Mercedes Benz Indiaâ€™s Madhubani, Pattachitra and Warli work. Grey India has got one shortlist for Mahindra Riseâ€™s â€˜The Health Purse (Sehat Ka Batua)' campaign for self-examination for breast cancer.
Ogilvy India has got Indiaâ€™s only mobile shortlist for Vodafone Indiaâ€™s campaign â€˜Sakhiâ€™.
TBWA\India Mumbai and Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai have secured a shortlist each in Design category on the first day at Cannes Lions. TBWA\Indiaâ€™s work titled â€˜Blink to Speakâ€™ done for Asha Ek Hope Foundation has made it to the shortlists. Ogilvy & Mather India secured one shortlist for IBSEN - The Drama of Good Trumping Evil done for Surnai.
TBWA\Indiaâ€™s campaign â€˜Blink to Speakâ€™ for Asha Ek Hope Foundation and McCann Indiaâ€™s campaign â€˜Five Status Wordsâ€™ for Harpic has been shortlisted under Print and Publishing category.
Radio shortlists were also announced today, but India has got no shortlist in the category.
