Vijay Television is launching a new serial Kalyanamam Kalyanam from January 29, every Monday to Friday at 9 pm. The new show is a family drama with mixture of emotions.
People have different opinions about the values involved in a marriage based on the situations they face in life. Kamali is a small-town girl who strongly believes in relationships whereas outgoing city boy Surya leads a very extravagant life and doesn't believe in marriage after seeing his parents separate for 20 years. Surya’s granddad, aware of Kamali’s simple nature, wants her to get married to his grandson.
Sreethu Nair, a popular Tamil television actress, will be playing the female lead. Nair was one of the main casts of the famous serial 7C telecast on Vijay TV. Nair acted as a school student in the serial and was highly appreciated for her role.
The fiction is an amalgamation of love, values and emotions. The male lead is played by actor Teja. Director turned actor Moulee, who worked in movies like Pistha, Time, etc, will be seen playing a pivotal role in this fiction. Director and actor of Tamil cinema R. Sundarrajan, who worked in films like Minsara Kanna, Vishwanathan Ramamoorthy, etc., is also playing an important role in this fiction directed by Bramma.
