Dainik Jagran retained its number 1 position as the largest read Hindi daily of the country across languages, according to latest figures released by IRS 2017. The daily recorded a total readership of 7,03,77,000, about 1.8 crore more than the second largest daily Hindustan.
Amar Ujala has disturbed the top order and broken into the top three by pushing Dainik Bhaskar and Rajasthan Patrika to the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively. Amar Ujala jumped two positions up from the previous IRS.
Prabhat Khabar and Punjab Kesari rose up in the order at No. 6 and No. 7 pushing Patrika to No. 8 and Navbharat Times to No. 9. Nai Dunia was at No. 10, according to the latest readership survey.
