Sahara Media Group has hired Alok Nair as Chief Commercial Officer. The Group includes entities like an electronic news channel bouquet of national and regional channels of the network, Rashtriya Sahara editions of Hindi newspapers as well as Rashtriya Roznama editions of Urdu Newspapers. All these entities are undergoing strategic and structural changes in terms of content, technology, branding and distribution.
Nair will contribute in evolving an effective commercial strategy for the media network. Nair comes with an experience of close to 20 years in the field of media broadcasting with companies like Bennett, Coleman & Co.(BCCL), Network 18 and Bloomberg TV India.
