ad:tech, an event at which India's modern marketing and media community meet each year, is hosting the 6th edition of the conference in New Delhi on March 3 and 4. The conference has attracted participants from 28 countries. The event will be held at the Leela Ambience Hotel and Residences, Gurgaon.

A recent advertising expenditure report forecasts that India's digital advertising would grow at 47.5 per cent in 2016, which is indeed, good news for the digital advertising fraternity. The burgeoning demand of the new age consumer has paved the way for faster evolution of the digital ecosystem from 9.9 per cent of the total combined advertising revenue share in 2015 to a forecasted 12.6 per cent.

 

India's modern marketing and media community meet at ad:tech each year to source suppliers, network with industry players, benchmark their digital strategies and get-to-grips with emerging trends and technologies. The intention of making advertising technology more seamless, information consumption more relevant, faster and accurate has led to execution of various new platforms, technologies and innovative products and startups.

Now that traditional buying and selling is showing the way to programmatic model, innovations and discoveries have evolved of the potentials for and demand of the digital marketing, advertising and technology ecosystem. These innovations are also an outcome of developing studies and debates on subjects such as 'In-the-Moment' marketing, cognitive technologies, cross-channel integration, measurement metrics, vernacular creativity, M-commerce, mobile app monetization, Internet of Things, Virtual Reality, teach wearables and video-on-demand.

ad:tech New Delhi's attraction is its agenda that reflects on challenges before the industry, its  evolution, and how it will grow. The event provides an opportunity for the industry to touch base with potential business partners and potential clients. It enables the marketing and media community to learn of the latest in digital and experience products and technologies that are shaping the growing digital marketing world.

The 6th edition promises to be bigger, better and grander than previous events, hosting more than 80 exhibitors across 18 categories. More than 150 speakers will participate in the event, including seven from the global sphere, who will deliver keynote addresses. More than 50   interactive sessions, including think:tech sessions will aim to move the digital advertising market forward with actionable insights.

One of the keynote addresses will be delivered by Alexander Schlaubitz, Vice-president, Global Marketing of Lufthansa, who among many things, started a widespread innovation initiative yielding creative work. Other keynote speakers include Michael Chrisment, Global Head of Integrated Marketing, Nescafé, Nestlé, Christophe Eymery, Head of Digital and Media, L'Orèal, Kunal Shah, Founder and CEO, Freecharge, and Manlio Sanna, Global Marketing Director, Carlsberg Group.
