ScoopWhoop Media has appointed marketing strategist Meghana Bhat as its Chief Strategy Officer. With over a decade's experience in digital and experiential marketing, Bhat was previously with Webchutney as National Creative Director and Chief Operating Officer.

In her new role at ScoopWhoop, Bhat will be responsible for positioning the brand in the B2B space and creating thought leadership around content marketing and native advertising with decision makers at brand/advertiser end.

Speaking on the announcement, Rishi Mukherjee, COO and Co-Founder, ScoopWhoop, said, “I'm excited to have Meghana joining our ScoopWhoop family. We are in the midst of a major transition, and we look forward to working with Meghana, as her skills and expertise will be instrumental to our growth.”

Bhat started her career as a copywriter at Dentsu-Webchutney, a digital agency. In her past roles, she has worked closely on brands like Bacardi, Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Tata Tea and Unilever among others.
