My FM goes to Rajkot

After Hisar and Karnal, it’s the turn of Rajkot listeners to enjoy My FM. It is the channel’s third station in Gujarat

After the launch in Hisar and Karnal, My FM, the radio division of the Dainik Bhaskar group, went on air in Rajkot on August 7. Rajkot is the third station of the network in Gujarat, after Ahmedabad and Surat.

Commenting on the launch, Harrish Bhatia, CEO, My FM, said, “Being a strong customer-centric organisation, we are committed to providing Rajkot with unique and engaging content. We enjoy the leadership position in both Ahmedabad and Surat; with Rajkot we have strengthened our network in the state and hence giving a compelling proposition to our advertiser.”

He said, “Keeping up with our commitment to provide innovative and enthralling entertainment, the launch was preceded by the campaign, ‘Aapki Marzi’, which helped us to know how the listeners want their radio channel to be like. We did a huge survey driven by print ads, online opinion poll and on-street interaction with people at high footfall points. Our on-air product is as per the ‘Marzi’ of the people of the city. We aim to enjoy undisputed leadership from day one.”

To keep the listeners excited, My FM has designed a high-decibel campaign, ‘Ab har Kaan Khush’, a 360-degree promotional campaign using print, outdoors, social media and on-ground promotion.

My FM team celebrated the launch with patrons and notable personalities of the city at Hotel Imperial. The evening was attended by The Prince of Rajkot and other notable guests from the city.
