Times Networks’ Rohit Tugnait joins as Business Head

With over 14 years of media experience, Tugnait will head the cost and revenue operations of the digital platform

Rohit Tugnait, former National Revenue Head at Zoom, has joined the youth-focused content portal as Business Head. With over 14 years of media experience, Tugnait has been a part of different genres of media selling, from print to TV and digital.

Commenting on the appointment, Cyrus Oshidar, MD and CCO,, said, “Rohit is immensely talented and brings with him extensive experience in sales, branded content and youth marketing through his experience at Zoom and MTV. With 101India’s rapid growth he will add a unique business focus to match its creative strengths and help take our brand forward.”

Tugnait’s mandate at would be to consolidate and grow the sales operations and build the organisation’s branded content agency.

Speaking about his new role, Tugnait said, “It’s a really exciting time for me. It’s not just 101India's vision of creating a distinct and robust youth content platform, but also that it has Cyrus at the helm that had me hooked. Marketers today are constantly looking for avenues to create content around their brands to take their messaging out more effectively to their TG. We are going to use our creative expertise to provide brands a voice that resonates stronger with the youth.”

Prior to his appointment at, Tugnait was in charge of the revenue functions at Zoom. Apart from the Times Network, Tugnait has worked with Star and MTV to name a few.
