Sony Entertainment Television is bringing the second season of Adalat, one of their bestselling crime shows, to spice up their weekend line-up with Crime Patrol, CID and the newly launched The Kapil Sharma Show.

The show will take up the 8pm slot on Saturday and Sunday starting June 4. Till now, the channel was telecasting Hanuman at 8 pm on Saturday and Suryaputra Karn on Sunday. The promos for the show are already running on the channel for some time now. On Saturday and Sunday, the channel airs Mann Mein Hai Vishwas at 7 pm, The Kapil Sharma Show at 9 pm and Crime Patrol at 11 pm. To add to the line-up, the channel is planning to bring the next season of its flagship crime fiction, CID.

In this season, Adaalat intends to reiterate the role of the court of law. It will emphasise on the thought 'Raay rakhne ka adhikaar sabko hai par nyaay karne ka sirf Adaalat ko,' which means while everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, only the judicial system has the right to deliver justice.

Produced by Contiloe Pictures, Adaalat 2 will feature gripping stories where the verdict is given based on facts and after thorough investigation. While the talented Ronit Roy dons the avatar of KD Pathak, the show will also see popular actors play crucial roles. Tisca Chopra, Rakshanda Khan, Amit Tandon, Samir Dharmadhikari, Anand Goradia among others will be seen playing public prosecutors fighting against Ronit.
