We had reported on January 8 that Maxus has won the media duties for OLX.

Now the official confirmation is out, that the agency has won the account in a multi-agency pitch recently. The Maxus Delhi team, headed by Navin Khemka, will lead the mandate to manage the media duties for OLX.

OLX India already has 80 per cent market share of the consumer-to-consumer (C2C) online classifieds in India. It is the leading classifieds platform for used cars and motorbikes, mobile phones and household items. OLX has a considerable edge over its closest rival in terms of brand awareness. According to a Google Trends report in the auto category, awareness of OLX as a brand is at least five times higher than that of any other player in the industry.

OLX is the top most buying and selling mobile app in India according to Google Play store. The app is currently trending at 2.8 billion page-views a month as of February 2016. As pioneers of 'We-Commerce' in India, OLX brings sellers and buyers together for win-win transactions. OLX is also a global leader in online classifieds, present in 40 countries and 50 languages across the globe.
