Emvies, the premier media awards instituted by The Advertising Club in 2001, are completing 15 years. For the 2015 edition of the awards, This year The Ad Club has received the highest number of entries ever at 835, which is a leap of 29 per cent over the 650 entries received last year.
The Advertising Club is organising the presentation of 152 case studies shortlisted for Emvies 2015 across 35 categories from August 31 to September 3 between 1.45 pm and 6 pm at Manik Sabhagriha Auditorium, Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai. The last date of case study presentation is September 4, 2015 from 1.45 pm to 6 pm at Hall of Culture, Nehru Centre, Dr Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai.
An eminent panel of 130 judges shortlisted 152 case studies out of a record 835 entries received by The Ad Club. The attendants will get an opportunity to cast their valuable vote on all the days in favour of the Best Case Study presented from August 31 to September 4. However, only those who are present on or before 2 pm will get the ballot paper to exercise their vote.
Some of the agencies whose work is shortlisted are Mindshare, Madison Media, Maxus, MediaCom Communications, Lodestar UM, MEC India, DDB Mudra Group, GroupM India, Interactive Avenues, Msix, OMD India, SMG Convonix, Initiative, FoxyMoron, GroupM Dialogue Factory, Havas Media Group India, Performics, PHD India and Tonic Media.
The Emvie Awards will be given away at an awards ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 6.30 pm at Hotel Palladium, Lower Parel, Mumbai. Donor passes will be available from September 8 at the Advertising Club Secretariat.
