Coupon code website CouponDunia has released an analysis of consumer behaviour basis on shopping patterns of their users across India. These insights highlight the changes in consumer shopping patterns in the first quarter of 2015 as compared to first quarter of 2014. This data report is based on CouponDunia's 13.5 million users in Q1 2015, that s, January to March 2015.
According to the survey, Delhi has emerged as the shopping capital of India. Mobile recharge is one of the fastest growing categories in e-commerce in Q1 2015, while Paytm is India's favourite digital wallet brand. Tier II cities are increasingly adapting to online shopping. The survey also states that 52.3 per cent of male shoppers use mobiles to shop online.
