Terribly Tiny Talkies, the short films division of the popular Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT) Facebook page, recently released five films as part of their Mother's Day series. One of the films, titled 'Cheers', is about an estranged mother-son who meet each other after a decade and bond over a cup of tea instead of a whiskey bottle that the son has got for his alcoholic mother. The brand Girnar has been featured seamlessly in the visual narrative of the film.

Commenting on the association with the film, Sachin Bhansali, Director, Girnar Food & Beverages, said, “There's no better way to strengthen bonds than over a cup of Girnar Tea. This message is beautifully portrayed in a heartwarming short film by the team at TTT.”

Chintan Ruparel, Co-Founder of TTT, added here, “People want good stories. It doesn't matter if they come from a brand as long as they have a strong emotional connect. Having an advertising background helps in understanding short format storytelling without losing out on the essence of the brand.”

Stressing on the importance of balancing between branded and non-branded content, he explained, "We were fortunate that Girnar's team understood that in-your-face kind of branded content doesn't work. If we had put the brand name as the title or allowed the branding to be visible for a longer time, most of the viewers would have not viewed it.”

“In any case, partnering quality content creators increasingly seems like the way to go for brands on the social web. In fact, it's a win-win-win situation, because it benefits not just the brand and the content platform, but also the audience,” remarked Anuj Gosalia, Co-Founder, TTT.

Terribly Tiny Tales has close to half a million fans and a weekly reach of over a million viewers on Facebook. The unit began with the first set of short films under the series 'Love', which was released in February 2015. The next set of films is scheduled for the Independence Day.
