CNBC-TV18's National Revenue Head Alok Nair calls it a day

With this, Nair ends his eleven-year stint with the business news channel

Alok Nair, Senior VP and National Revenue Head, CNBC-TV18, has put in his papers after eleven years with Network18. Prior to this, Nair was the Senior VP and National Head of Network 18 Focus, which included the general and business news segment.

On his move, Nair said, “I have decided to move on and the process is still going on. My tenure at CNBC-TV18 has been a great one. It has been full of new challenges and was a dream run. I have been one of the fortunate ones to get this kind of experience so early in life. I have seen it all and have been really lucky. I have stayed here for several years and it has been like a home to me.”

Nair chose not to comment on his next move saying, “I have not decided on my next move, but I think I deserve to take a break for some time.”

Nair has also worked with the Times Group for two years. He possesses a post-graduate degree from Times School of Marketing.
