IBN7 is all set to don a new look. Taking its rich legacy of being India's channel of impact forward, IBN7 is being re-launched on October 19, 2014. With the spirit of 'Utsaah, Umang and Umeed' of a new changing India, the channel is set to reposition itself with the new tagline 'Hausla Hai'. A fresh and positive perspective, a committed team of reporters, new shows and slicker and cleaner graphics will ensure that IBN7 stands out in the cluttered Hindi news genre.

With over 2200 reporters across the country, the channel will provide coverage which no other network can match, and will focus on providing more and more news as opposed to views and opinions that have become the norm on most news channels.

The changes at the channel are being fronted by established and credible faces of television - Sumit Awasthi, Richa Anirudh and Akash Soni, along with Navjyot Kaur, Tejasvi Chandok Nayyar, Payal Bhuyan, Himani Naithani, Pankaj Bhargava and the channel's present team of young and credible journalists and reporters. IBN7 will be launching several new shows as part of its re-launch. From a programme that will showcase news from every nook and corner of the country 'Desh Din Bhar', to a big-town, big-story show 'Rajdhani Express' and a show dedicated to the latest buzz and trends in the social media space 'INews', the channel's programming line-up will appeal to a wide cross-section of viewers.

The prime-time programming on IBN7 is also being re-vamped and strengthened with a new show 'Aath Baje', which will not only be a round-up of news, but will also deep dive into major issues, a rejuvenated and fast-paced 'India Nau Baje' with short format news, packages and newsmaker interviews and a new crime bulletin 'Crime News'.

Commenting on the relaunch, Umesh Upadhyay, President (News), Network18, said, “The IBN7 relaunch, we believe, will be a defining milestone for the channel. It is extremely important that news channels stay relevant to viewers. Our increased focus on news as against just views, clean look and feel, our unmatched footprint and coverage, and our focus on strong journalistic values will resonate with the Hindi news viewers. We already have an exceptionally strong team, with senior journalists Sanjeev Paliwal and MK Jha, which has become stronger, more vibrant and more credible with the addition of our new team members.”
