Ceat and MTV have collaborated once again to launch the second season of 'MTV Chase the Monsoon'. In its first season, the reality show turned out to be a hit with the digital natives.
'CEAT MTV Chase the Monsoon' is a social reality show featuring a 24-day biking road trip with four teams, each consisting of two members, with limited budgets exploring India during the monsoons. The show has now moved from online to television and airs on the channel every Friday at 10 PM.
The show, a liberating experience, is a journey from the driest to the wettest part of India - Kutch to Cherrapunji. The teams follow specific themes - nature, heritage, culture and cuisine. The journey begins from the dry lands of Kutch, with host Rannvijay flagging the teams off from the Rann of Kutch. They cross eight states after Gujarat, chasing the monsoon.
Keeping up with trends and innovation, the teams challenged each other and even donated money for causes from their very own social currency money. And to avoid wasting fresh water, the teams collected water from rivers, lakes and rains, and performed the challenge at riverbeds to do good to society.
